In the beginning
It all started in 1998 when we returned to Greece from Canada. Desiring closer contact with nature, we adopted our first beehives.
The amazing world of bees heightened our awareness about the web of interdependence in the ecosystem and so, with great respect, we embarked on a beautiful symbiosis.
Innovation
In 2003, we imported organic beeswax foundation with the diameter of natural cell knowing that a natural honeycomb strengthens the bees’ immune system and reduces stress which in turn increases their resistance to enemies and illness.
The Lab
In 2007, we took part in a European funded programme which enabled us to create the first modern laboratory and packing plant in the prefecture of Arta, in the mountain village of Elati at 900 m altitude. Our facilities meet the international safety and quality standards.
Since then
In harmony with the rhythm of nature, as each season unfolds in the mountains of Pindus, we lovingly collect the precious products of our bees in a way that preserves their healing power , which only a healthy ecosystem with rich biodiversity can offer.
